Why did you pursue event planning and coordination?

Event planning and coordination found me! It’s a long story, but I’ll give you the highlights.

Two things about me: First, I love to celebrate…why wouldn’t you? There’s nothing better than being surrounded by friends and family, laughing, singing, and dancing. That kind of joy is indescribable! Second, I have a natural passion for planning events and parties. I’m known for adding thoughtful, personal touches that make every occasion special. One day, while commuting to my dreaded 9-to-5, I stumbled upon an apprenticeship opportunity with Pristine Events. It felt like a sign from the universe, so I took a leap of faith and applied. The rest is history!

Why do you love events/wedding planning?

Watching our couples' faces light up as their vision comes to life is absolutely priceless. It’s moments like these that make event planning truly special. Knowing I played a role in bringing their dreams to reality makes every bit of hard work worthwhile, it’s the kind of adrenaline rush I thrive on!

One of my most memorable experiences was planning my first full-scale destination wedding, a breathtaking three-day celebration in an ancestral castle. The historic setting added an extra touch of magic, making it an unforgettable event. Seeing months of meticulous planning seamlessly come together is incredibly rewarding.

With the exciting opportunity to lead Destination Weddings, I’m eager to craft more extraordinary and meaningful celebrations, turning dreams into reality in the most magical settings.

What do you bring to the team?

I bring a proactive and detail-oriented approach to every task I take on. Organisation is second nature to me, just take one look at my colour-coordinated calendar! I’m also fun, easygoing, and highly approachable, making collaboration effortless. Punctuality is a top priority for me, I’m always ahead of schedule, and if I’m not, you might want to send a search party because something has definitely gone wrong!

When you’re not coordinating or planning, what are you most likely doing?

When I’m not coordinating or planning, you’ll likely find me indulging my love for food, either cooking up something delicious or exploring new restaurants. Being a UGC creator and Social Media Manager means my camera always eats first, sorry family and friends!
